WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Dominating the most norther part of Italy’s wine growing regions, Pinot Grigio has become synonymous with an easy going, “everyday” drinking style.
Notes of honey, citrus, pear and a hint of exotic fruit provide a great nose to this wine. On the palate, lemon zest and a hint of grapefruit prevail, complemented by a refreshing acidity on the back palate. Dry style, this Pinot Grigio is clean, elegant and fresh on the balanced finish.
FOOD MATCHES
This Pinot Grigio pairs particularly well with smoked fishes, poultry, salads with vinaigrettes, peppers and garlic. We love pairing this wine with pizza with anchovies, grilled shrimp and cold seafood. Cheeses that are best served with this Pinot Grigio include Brie, Asiago, Cheddar and Gruyere.
