Kew’s cider production is the concept of sales rep Adam D’Intino, who saw the need for more elegant and most importantly, drier style ciders to be available on the market. Traditional Method is how we envision all things effervescent at Kew, and our cider is a new direction that stays true to our brand.
The nose is dominated by fresh and ripe golden apple characteristics. Layers of lemon zest, apple blossom and lavender keep it lively while subtle oak notes and a touch of brioche create complexity. On the palate, it’s dry with elegant acidity and a round, soft mousse, finishing long and full.
This cider’s dry acidity and complex flavours make it a great food match. Take pub food up a notch and consider pairing it with a lightly battered or grilled white fish, herbed frites and aoili, or keep things casual at the barbecue with grilled turkey burgers. In terms of cheese, stick with softer style cheeses such as havarti.
